Definición y mecanismo básico La endocitosis implica la invaginación de la membrana plasmática, que se pliega hacia el interior celular para formar una vesícula que transporta el material interno. Este proceso consume energía (es activo) y permite a la célula controlar la entrada de sustancias sin alterar la integridad de la membrana.
